About Dr. Burke

I’m a licensed Clinical Psychologist who has been working in the human services field for over 15 years. In addition to earning a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, I’ve completed graduate training in Rehabilitation Counseling, working with individuals diagnosed with disabilities to achieve an optimum quality of life.

I believe in how psychotherapy can empower individuals to overcome challenges they are experiencing and improve their sense of well-being. My approach focuses on partnering with individuals to identify their strengths, while working collaboratively to create a plan to meet their identified needs.

Practice Areas

Mood difficulties, relationship and communication conflicts, and trauma for both adults and adolescents are my primary areas of expertise. I adapt my therapeutic style to best meet the needs and preferences of each individual.

For Adults

My work with adults centers on understanding their needs, identifying particular challenges, and developing meaningful tools to address problems and create a healthier, more satisfying life.

For Adolescents

I work with middle school- and high school-aged youth to help them learn how to:

  • Build resilience and develop coping skills
  • Manage anxieties that come with developmental changes
  • Handle the challenges of peer relationships
  • Address questions about gender
  • Cope with academic stress and other types of stress

I also offer consultations to support parents and other caregivers as they navigate the issues their adolescent may be facing.
